He is survived by: his children, Shonda Braziel of Charlotte, NC, Jamal Braziel (Taiche) of West Haven, CT, Sheri Braziel (Oyani) of Charlotte, NC, Jerry Braziel Jr. of Bridgeport, CT, Steven Williams of Bridgeport, CT and Renten Aklin of West Haven, CT.; his grandchildren, Keyara Braziel of Connecticut, Tomais Braziel of Connecticut, Story Braziel of Connecticut and Masen Braziel of Connecticut; and his sisters, Brenda Lewis (Wilcher) of Macon, GA and Carolyn Randall (Willie) of Bridgeport, CT. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morton's Mortuary (25 Margaret E Morton Ln, Bridgeport, CT 06607). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
