We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joan E. Csizmadia of Bridgeport, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Holden and Grace Holden; her sister Karen Schaalman; her husband Thomas Csizmadia; and her sons, Thomas Csizmadia, Jr. (Kathleen), Timothy (Rose Biro), Scott (Terri) and Brian (Kelly).

She is survived by : her siblings, Linda Nowlan (William), Deborah Holden and James Holden (Lisa Meyer); her friend Laura Csizmadia; and her caregiver Kizzie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (834 Brookside Dr, Fairfield, CT 06824). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Lawncroft Cemetery (1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825).
