She was predeceased by: her husband Walter E. Luckett, Sr.; her son Darrell Vance Luckett; her parents, John Wesley Hatton and Ruby Lee Adams Hatton; and her siblings, Helen Harris (John), Doris Ivey, Bertha Rivera, Thomas Hatton (Beverly), Carl Hatton, Marvin Hatton and Kevin Hatton (Deborah).
She is survived by: her sons, Walter Luckett (Valita) of Hamden, Connecticut, Larry Luckett of Chesapeake, Virginia and Norman Luckett (Michelle) of Smyrna, Delaware; and her grandchildren, Lashonda Candelaria (Anthony), Larry Luckett Jr., Nikolya Luckett (Mike Crawley), Aisha Luckett, Neville Brown (Morgan), Ashlie Luckett (Justin Smith), Melissa Luckett-Smallwood (Noah) and Raven Luckett. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of loving cousins and friends.
