He was predeceased by: his former wife Diane Durand (Connor); his parents, John E. Durand, Sr. and Zada Ledesma (Briggs); his sisters-in-law, Jean Quinn and Peggy "Margaret" Fitzpatrick; his brothers, Carl Rollins, Roland Rollins and Clifford "Rocky" Briggs; James Connor (Audrey), Barbara Cervone (Angelo) and Rita Tucciarone (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Rita Mae Moore and John E. Durand, III; his fiancée Martha; his grandchildren, Haley Mae Moore, Cassidy Rose Moore, Madison Nicole Moore and Marco Emmanuel Donoso; his brother-in-law Walter Connor; and his pet Bandit. He is also survived by loving father, and proud "Poppa" to his grandchildren.
