He is survived by: his wife Elsy Simon Cerdeira; his children, Robert Cerdeira and Janette Cerdeira; his grandson Jayden Joseph Cerdeira; his siblings, Maria Meireles (Albino Meireles) of Ludlow, MA, Celeste Rodrigues of France and Antonio Cerdeira (Virginia Cerdeira) of Estoril Portugal; and his siblings' children, Isabelle, Nadine, Fred, Paul, Susana, Manuela, Joe, Pedro, Cristina, Catarina and Antonio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
