Käthe Schneider Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Käthe Schneider of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on May 8, 2022 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Käthe Schneider to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Schneider; her parents, Christian Gastel and Katharine Gastel (Rau); her daughter Lenore G.; her sisters, Frieda Foehrenbach, Eva, Klara and Emilie; and her stepbrother Karl.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Schneider (Barbara) of Trumbull and Ronald K. Schneider of Monroe; her grandchildren, Brandon Schneider (Jennifer) and Lauren Gagliardi (John Jr.); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Derek, Lillian and Ethan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Katie Schneider may be made to the Kennedy Center.
