She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Klein and Sadie Klein (Smilovitz); her significant other Melvin Amdur (Mel); her son Jeffrey Amdur; and her brother Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Amdur (Susan) of Northborough, Stuart Amdur (Cheryl) of Orange and Joyce Platz (Arthur "Artie") of Fairfield, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Matthew Amdur (Kate), Jennifer Amdur (Ted Swiderski), Jordan Amdur (Nicole), Jonathan Amdur and Sara Platz; and her great grandchildren, Bayley, Beatrice, Devin, Charlotte, Emma and Sadie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home (88 Beach Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ahavath Achim Cemetery (250 Reid St, Fairfield, CT 06825). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
