She is survived by: her husband Victor S. Mercado; her children, Julia Mercado and Nelida Mercado-Russell (John); her grandchildren, Juan Mercado-Russell, Joel Mercado-Russell, Nicole Mercado, Ashley Mercado, Genesis Mercado and Idalis Bonilla; and her siblings, Carmen and Rafael Torres Hernandez. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
