She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Michaels; her parents, Dimitrie Nastu and Nasta Cashavelly Nastu; and her sisters, Sylvia Culetsu and Elizabeth Nastu.
She is survived by: her son James Michaels; her daughter-in-law Olga of Bridgeport; her grandsons, John Michaels (Niurka) and James Michaels; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Arianna and Jeremy James; and her nephew John Culetsu.
