It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Da Graca Pires of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joao Pires; her parents, Acacio Justino Esteves Coelho and Albertina Fernandes; and her siblings, Gloria Rua, Domingos and Joao Coelho.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Cruz (Jose), Elisa Rainho (Cesar), Tina Pedreira (Joe) and Ana Maria Gabriel (David); her grandchildren, Michael Cruz, Jonathan Cruz (Vanessa), Danny Rainho (Diana), Nicole Pedreira, Jaime, Josh Pedreira, Brian Gabriel (Giuliana), Justin Rainho (Daisy) and Jon-Michael Pedreira; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Emma, Augie, Tyler, Mackenzie, Gabriella, Noah, Ethan, Austin, Jacob, Raegan and Sofia; and her sister Eliza Teixeira. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
