She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Fernandes and Amelia Mendes Gouveia; her husband Eduardo Fernandes Monginho; and her son Fernando Monginho. She is survived by: her daughter Fernanda Rodrigues; her son-in-law Eugenio Rodrigues of Canada; her sister Felisbela Mendes of Madeira; and her grandchildren, Christina Constantino (Robert) of Florida, Tricia Monginho of Bridgeport, Hilda (Carlos) of Bridgeport and Fernando Monginho, Jr. of Florida. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608.
