She was predeceased by: her spouse Sebastião Paiva; her parents, Domingos Dias Jorge and Lucinda Dinis Palhete; her daughter-in-law Albertina Paiva; her siblings, Jose Jorge (Izilda), Augusto Jorge (Juliana) and Ana Jorge Oliveira (Eduardo); and her brother-in-law Antonio Palhete.
She is survived by: her sons, Jose Paiva, Antonio Paiva and Joaquim Paiva (Lori); and her siblings, Joaquim Jorge (Maria), Antonio Jorge (Ana Maria), Rosa Palhete and Laurinda Dos Santos (Manuel). She is also survived by grandchildren; seven adored great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount St. Peter Cemetery (219 New Haven Ave, Derby, CT 06418).
