With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Rae Edwards (Bridgeport, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 49. As we bid adieu to Melissa Rae's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Melissa Rae has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Walter Edwards. She is survived by: her mother Miriam Parsons; her children, Neveah A. Edwards and Isaiah Johnson; and her brother Michael Anthony Muñiz.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery (100 Harvester Rd, Easton, CT 06612).
