He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mitro and Mary Mitro (Buda) of Stratford; his brother Thomas Mitro; his nephew Lawrence Mitro; and his niece Michele Hargbol (Mitro).
He is survived by: his cousin Dorothy Durkin of Stratford; his sister-in-law Constance Mitro; and his nephew Paul Mitro (Dana Hargnol). He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, a great nephew and many cousins.
