With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Hornyak of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Hornyak, Sr.; her parents, Antonio DeMasi and Anna DeMasi (Imitazione); her son John J. Hornyak, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Carey, Edith Masuli, Nicolina Rizzitelli, Frank DeMasi and Joseph DeMasi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula, Claudia Zahorsky (Laurie Weinstein) and Cynthia Rivera (Luis); her grandchildren, David Zahorsky, Jr., Emily Zahorsky, Shane Zahorsky (Amanda) and Brett Zahorsky; her great grandchild Ava Lilly Zahorsky; her grandchildren, Hunter Bisciglia Sigona and Gabriela Bisciglia Sigona; and her sisters, Anna DeMasi and Jean Fisher.
