She was predeceased by: her parents, John Will and Mary Patrick; her sister Rebecca Stokes of Bridgeport, CT; and her children, Valerie L. Turner of Bridgeport, Anthony Turner (Teneika) of Bridgeport, CT and Debra Gail Pettway (Lorenzo) of Bridgeport, CT..
She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Patrick-Journiette of Martinsville, VA and James Arthur Patrick of Pasadena, MD.; her granddaughters, Jerrica Sloan of Bridgeport, CT and Janeen Fountain (Venoal) of Shelton, CT; and her great grandchildren, Kacee and Khloee Johnson of New Haven, CT.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Her contributions to the community and the lives she touched through her work will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
