Raquel Rivera Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 22, 2023, at the age of 98, Raquel Rivera of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luis A. Rivera, Sr.; her parents, Pedro-Juan Zapata and Anna Zapata; her son Jesus'Jesse'Rivera (Patricia); her grandson Paul Murphy; and her brothers, Pedro Juan Zapata, Jr., Miguel Angel Zapata and Jose Antonio Zapata.
She is survived by: her son Luis'Tito'A. Rivera, Jr. (Cynthia Hornyak Rivera) of Bridgeport; her sisters, Alma Batalla of Bridgeport, Elba, Maria and Edith of Ponce, P. R.; her grandchild Sheelah Buedinger (Bill); her sisters, Alexandra Lepore (Chris), Danielle Rivera, Kristen Rivera (Jason) and April Rivera; her great grandchildren, Alex, Hanna, Abigale Buedinger, Meghan, Collin Lepore, Neena Spinelli and Harper Bunce; and her caregiver Gloria Zelaya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
