He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Aubrey Barnes Sr. and Ruby Mae Barnes; and his siblings, Debra Barnes, Dwayne Barnes, Michael Barnes Sr. and William Brockenberry.
He is survived by: his children, Shaleeka Profit, Shamé George and Reggie; his siblings, JoAnn Scott, Herbert Aubrey Barnes Jr. (Dannette), Paula Chavis, Julie Wheeler (Terry), Michael Fletcher, Louise Candelmo and Tyrell Barnes; and his former wife Sherrie James. He is also survived by his grandchildren, a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous familial friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker-Isaac Funeral Services (985 Stratford Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06607). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
