She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Betts Sr.; and her parents, Rita Theresa and John W. Valeriay. She is survived by: her children, Rita Mae Dion (Mark), John W. Betts Jr. (Janice) and Jeffrey S. Betts (Susan); her grandchildren, Melissa Lesavoy (Michael), John Dion (Brenna), Valeriay Dion, Dillion Jones-Betts, Rachel Moran (Kim) and Isaac Betts; her great grandchildren, Levi Lesavoy and Rhye Lesavoy; and her aunt Nic Valeriay (Lois). She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish (109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT 06451). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Laurent Cemetery (1351 Hanover Ave, Meriden, CT 06451).
