It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert A. Caciopoli (Bridgeport, Connecticut), who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Edith Caciopoli (Lazaro Kennedy); his children, Lisa Caciopoli, Robert S. Caciopoli, Laura Caciopoli and Victoria Angone (Caciopoli); his siblings, Joseph Caciopoli and Sally Caturano; his stepchildren, Michael Kennedy, Teresa Wilson (Samuel Wilson Jr.), Karen Kennedy, Mona Stephenson, JoAnn Kennedy and Edward Kennedy; and his grandson Bob. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, 31 step-grandchildren.
After retiring, he was a professor of ESL and Remedial English for 20 more years at Sacred Heart University, University of Bridgeport, the Upward Bound Program at Fairfield University and Housatonic Community College until the pandemic lockdown in March 2020.
