It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Kelly of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Stephanie Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Kimberle Laue of Stratford and Danelle Sullivan (Daniel) of Milford; and his grandchildren, Brian McAloon (Merry), Matthew McAloon (Sarah), Kelly Sullivan (Justin Carfo), Justin Laue, Daniel Sullivan (Alysha) and Eric Laue (Brittany Henry). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William R. McDonald Funeral Home (2591 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
