She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Garay and Shirley McDougall Garay; her sister Deborah Garay; and her brother-in-law Kim. She is survived by: her spouse Angel Maldonado; her sons, Anthony Ayala (Lisa) and Willie Maldonado; and her sister Elizabeth Zumbo (Joseph). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
