He is survived by: his stepfather Joseph Gadson; his wife Teresa Latorre; his son Luis Cruz (Jennifer Vidal) of Trumbull; his grandchildren, Maryah Vidal, Melydee Cruz and Mason Cruz; and his siblings, Bettie Burke of South Carolina, Joe Gadson of Texas and Mike Hicks of Bridgeport. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
