She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaime Vega and Eleuteria Cortes; and her son Hector Almodovar. She is survived by: her sons, Luis (Jasmina), Eliaser (Jeanette) and Christopher (Astrid); her daughter-in-law Noemi; and her siblings, Felix (Teresa), Margarita, Bernardino and Sylvia. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchild.
