She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Belinkie and Samuel Belinkie of Bridgeport, CT.; and her husband Merrill Pollinger. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Casner Lynch (Kevin), Andrea Pollinger, Beth Casner Andrews and Arnie Pollinger (Robin Perlow); her sister Marion Ashkins; her niece Cindy Ashkins; and her brothers, Milton and Isadore. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Ruth's memory can be made to the Soup Kitchen of Del Ray Beach, FL, Lifepath Hospice on Tampa, FL or any food bank of your choice .
