She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Bohannon and Remoldus Bohannon; her husband Warren Dunn; her grandson Steve Anthony Banton Jr.; her siblings, Sharon Bohannon, Lommie "Peggy" Stewart, Yvonne "Denise" Bryant, Otis Bohannon, Calvin "Joe" Bohannon (Vanessa) and Henry Bohannon (Gerald); and her close friend Delois "Lois" Ezekiel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robbi Dunn-Harris (Sam) of Winston-Salem, Adrienne "Yvette" Dunn of Las Vegas, Nevada, Alberta Dunn of Salisbury, Pamela Stokes (Jeffery) of Fayetteville and Peggy Robinson of Bridgeport, Connecticut.; and her siblings, Freddie "Bra", Mary Ellen Bohannon of Fayetteville and Margaret Bohannon of Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Aery Baptist Church (73 Frank St, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
