He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pagan Lopez and Miriam Maldonado Pagan; his brother Joseph Pagan; and his niece Janice Pagán (Puerto Rico) of Bayamon. He is survived by: his wife Irene Pagan of Dover; his children, Jose Irizarry, Madeleine Irizarry, Richard Irizarry, Victor Pagán, Jr. (Michelle Pagan) and Daniel Pagán; his grandchildren, Alicia Irizarry, Tabitha Irizarry, Lexi Irizarry, Anthony Ridgeway, Stephan, Chris Zelaya, Trey Lee, Jayce Pagan, Joseph Pagan, Jayden Pagan and Cayden Irizarry; his sisters, Sandra (Efrain Rodriguez) of Bridgeport, CT. and Rosa (Jose Cruz) of Shelton, CT.; and his nieces and nephews, Jose Cruz, Jr. (Ruth), Matthew Cruz, Diana Lynn Pagán-Rosado of Puerto Rico, Lillian Elisa Pagán Rosado of Puerto Rico and Lynette Marie Pagán-DeLucia (Mark DeLucia) of Hamden, CT.. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
