She was predeceased by: her parents, Arcino Da Cruz and Maria Rodrigues Sampaio; her husband Jose Sampaio Gomes; and her siblings, Antonio Da Cruz, Senhorinha Alves and Teresa Teixeira.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Diaz (John) and Tina Waehler (Scott); her grandchildren, Kira Diaz, Connor Diaz, Ian Diaz, Emily Waehler, Brendan Waehler and Justin Waehler; and her siblings, Jose Da Cruz, Gloria Morias and Odette Pires. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
