She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Bednar. She is survived by: her children, George David Bednar of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, Susan Bednar Long of Dallas, Texas and Christopher Bednar of Asheville; her brother Edward Lenahan of Clearwater Beach; and her grandchildren, George, Joseph, Theodore, Lucille, Baker, Schuyler, Jack, Charlie and Reagan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Fran's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), an organization she proudly supported.
