He was predeceased by: his mother Rose McOwen. He is survived by: his wife Judith Gallant; his son Michael Gallant; his daughter-in-law Sarah Papale; his daughter Janelle Uppal; his son-in-law Cristian Uppal; and his grandson Leo Uppal.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the New Milford Lions Club, in recognition of Stephen's many years of service and commitment to his community.
