She was predeceased by: her husband Carl G. "Gus" Ahl; her parents, Carl Eza and Olga Eza (Zielke); and her siblings, John, Carl Eza and Margaret Tkacz (Eza).
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ahl of Bristol, Karen Collins (Patrick) of Bristol and Douglas Ahl (Rebecca) of Madison, WI.; her grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan, Brian Collins, Henry and Neo Ahl; and her siblings, Bertha Friedmann of Berlin and Arthur Eza (Patricia) of Murrells Inlet, SC..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (355 Camp St, Bristol, CT 06010). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Freda's memory may be made to the Madison Children's Museum of Madison, Wisconsin.
