It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony D. Sassu of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Sassu (Pisoni); his siblings, Peter "Sonny" Sassu and Joan DeNote; his mother-in-law Eunice Patnode; his cousin Salvatore Contini; and his pet Stella.
He is survived by : his father Peter G. Sassu; his wife Valerie; his brothers, Richard (Kathryn Sassu), Mario (Beverly Sassu) and Shirley Sassu; and his nephew Dean Sassu. He is also survived by relatives, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Tony's name be made to the "ARF", Animal Rescue Foundation, 366 Main Street Terryville, CT 06786.
