He was predeceased by: his stepfather Paul Larson; and his father Armand Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Gilbert (Gomes); his children, Lisa M. Bernardino (Nuno) of Portland, CT, Joseph R. Gilbert (Charleen Amato) of Billerica, MA and Temple K. Barna of Woodstock, CT; his mother Marie-Marthe Larson (Doyon) of Bristol, CT; his sisters, Diane McGivney (Armand) of Bristol, CT and Denise Bellini (Francis) of Bristol, CT; his grandchildren, Austin Gilbert, Harmony Barna, Payton Barna and Leonel Bernardino; and his mother-in-law Carol Gomes of Webster. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
