We announce the death of Carmella D. Fortier of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 101. Carmella will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony DeNote and Mary DeNote; her husband Bertrand M. Fortier; and her son Joseph Fortier. She is survived by: her sister Frances Palleschi; her children, Brenda Perone, Deborah Ragali (Brian), Sharon Caminiti and Marc Fortier; her caregivers, Sharae, Marsha and Anna; Pete. She is also survived by Her 7 grandchildren, 5 grandchildren's significant others, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
