He was predeceased by: his parent Gilman Gorneault; and his brother Dennis Gorneault. He is survived by: his parent Marie-Anna Gorneault (Veilleux) of Bristol; his wife Elizabeth Ann Gorneault (Wheeler) of Bristol; his children, Paul Gorneault of Bristol and Lindsey Heinzman (Eli) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Dustin, Shane and Anastasia Heinzman; his stepchildren, Chris Plourde (Katy) of Harwinton and Brianna Plourde of Bristol; and his sister Cathy Gorneault of Bristol. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (90 Church Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
