She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Milton Knibbs; her parents, Ralph G. Brothwell and Violetta Brothwell (Hotchkiss); her sons, John E. Knibbs and David R. Knibbs; her sons-in-law, Bob Avolt and Roger Houle; and her siblings, George Brothwell, Barbara Woolley and Earle Brothwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Avolt of Bristol and Betty Houle of Bristol; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Clark (Tom) of Farmington; and her grandchildren, Lori Marquis, Jeffrey Avolt (Tricia), Kathy Schilling (Ken), Rebecca Roberts (Pete), David Rindfleisch (Johanne), Dawn Houle, Timm Knibbs (Mimi), John Knibbs (Suzanne), Christopher Knibbs (Missy) and Tabitha Knibbs. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
