It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Earl Pelkey of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelus Pelkey and Irene A. Pelkey (Berth); his wife Frances Pelkey (Kolibczynski); his daughter Irene Pelkey Yeski; and his siblings, William Pelkey, Mary Kania, Julia Pelkey Lis and Mildred Pelkey Lozewski.

He is survived by : his children, Elizabeth Pelkey Day (Dwight), Barbara Pelkey Gardner (TY) of Terryville and William Pelkey (Debra) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Nicole Day, Megan Day Kathan (Dakota) and Robert Pelkey of Bristol; his stepgrandson Tony; his sister Blanche Pelkey Failor; and his son-in-law Frederick Yeski of Plainville. He is also survived by great-grandson on the way and several nieces and nephews.
