He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Paul and MarieAnge Cyr (Morneau); his wife Linda Theresa Cyr (Martin); and his brothers, Robert and Norman Cyr.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Cyr of Bristol, Lisa (Edward Robinson) of Plainville and Stacy Cyr; his grandchildren, Derek Cote (Chantelle), Justin Robinson (Samantha), Kimberly Byrd (Alyssa), Kayla and Monique Blais; his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Eli Robinson, Rosalina Traber and Jazlyn Curiel; and his siblings, George, Jeanel Cyr and Georgette Roy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
