It is with sadness that the passing of Jean Luc Roy of Bristol, Connecticut is shared. Jean Luc, born on June 11, 1941 in Saint-Romain, Québec, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Roy and Hermeline Roy (Bourque). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Roy (Tardif); his sons, David Roy (Melinda) of Seven Valleys, PA and Michael Roy of Torrington; his sisters, Pierette Lemiuex of Canada and Julie Hallee of Canada; his grandchildren, Derrick Roy, Leah Carroll, Giana and Julian Roy; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Emersyn, Beckett, Adler and Callum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann Church (215 West St, Bristol, CT 06010).
