She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel E. Sr. Carpenter and Marguerite Carpenter (Speed); her daughter Patricia Haynes; her siblings, Joel E. Carpenter Jr., Evelyn McLane, Eleanor Cahill and Shirley Carpenter; and her grandson-in-law Billy Perrotti.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Cahill (Leigh) of Barkhamsted, Steven Cahill (Carol) of Bristol, Diana Gurka of Clinton, SC, Sally Cahill of Bristol and Carolyn Lindblom of Bristol; her son-in-law Paul Haynes of Anderson, SC; her sister Connie Richter-Hess of Poughkeepsie, NY; her grandchildren, Amy Lott, Jason Gurka, Christine Martin (Brian), Michael Cormier (Sabrina), Kaitlin Hacker (Dwight), Christopher Cahill (Kelly), Trevor Cahill (Rebecca), Michael Lindblom, Stephanie Lindblom, Krystal Perrotti and Matthew Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Trey Lott, Jordynn Lott, Dominic Martin (Haley Futo), Joshua Martin, Brayden Martin, Mia Cormier, Michael Cormier, Gabriel Hacker, Payton Coppedge, Coltan Cahill, Mckayli Cahill and Lila Cahill.
