She was predeceased by: her husband Miguel Melecio-Rios; her parents, Francisco Carrasquillo and Aurelia Roque; her son Miguel Angel Melecio; her brothers, Robert Carrasquillo, Jose Luis Carrasquillo and Jose Carrasquillo; and her pet Ziggy.
She is survived by: her son Jorge Sanchez-Carrasquillo Jr. (Kelly) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Jorge Sanchez III, Alizha Sanchez, Justin Sanchez and Isabella Sanchez; her sisters, Gloria Collozo (Claudio) of Puerto Rico and Ida DeJesus (Raoul) of Bradenton; and her pet Noah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (33 Queen St, Bristol, CT 06010).
