She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. and Edith McCarthy, Sr. (Russell); her son David J. Kleinschmidt; her former husband Robert C. Kleinschmidt; and also Russell S. McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Kleinschmidt (Jennifer Whitcomb) of Andover and Steven Kleinschmidt (Karen) of Bristol; her stepdaughter Roberta K. Gentile (Gene) of Bristol; her siblings, Joan Armet (Brian) of Berlin, Mary L. Reardon (Mark) of Enfield and Charles A. McCarthy, Jr. of Bristol; her grandchildren, Alex, Kevin, Kaylyn, Carolyn, Adriana and Gina; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Evelena, Leo and Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
