We bid farewell to Peter Thomas Tracey of Bristol, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Peter Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Peter Thomas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Peter Thomas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tracey and Geraldine Tracey (Rescott); his son Mark Sean Tracey; and his brother Gerald Tracey. He is survived by: his significant other Gracemary Comstock of Bristol; his daughters, Susan Tracey Dugan and Kelly Tracey Gagnon (Michael) of Wethersfield; and his brother Paul Tracey (Susan) of Old Saybrook. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
