He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Sundgren and Catherine Sundgren (Sirko). He is survived by: his children, Rocky Sundgren, Jr. (Amy) of New Britain, Betsy Sundgren of Bristol, Becky Swanson of New Preston and Shelby Smallman (William); his grandchildren, Mariya Sundgren, Lillian Sundgren, Hadyn Sundgren, Warren Sundgren, Reese Swanson, Ona Swanson, Emilia Baxter and Henry Baxter; his siblings, Robert Sundgren, Barbara Letizia (John) of Bristol and Susan Twombly (John) of Burlington; and the mother of his children Dorene Sundgren of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
