He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ulrych and Stanislawa Ulrych (Kazmierczak); his wives, Emmie Ulrych and Hildegard Ulrych; and his granddaughter Kristen.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Krystyna Koskowski; his children, Richard Ulrych, Jr., Rose Phelps (Thomas), Christina Sylvester (Donald Wainright) and Gabriella Roether (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Alec, Monique (Jordan), Jennifer (Mike), Aimee, Melissa (Thomas), Jeffrey (Stephanie) and Dana Matthew; and his partner's daughters, Diana Jalbert (Rick) and Iwona Hillburn (Robert). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Duksa Family Funeral Home (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053).
