Rita Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Johnson of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Veilleux and Marie Veilleux (Gagne); her son John O. Johnson; her close friend Joseph MacDonald; and her brothers, Raymond and Robert Veilleux.
She is survived by: her children, Carl of Rocky Hill, Bruce Johnson (Judy) of Bristol, Gail Sullivan of Bristol, Cheryl Casado (Mark) of Whittier and Lisa Richards (David) of East Canaan; her sisters, Germaine Lombardi of Bristol, Marie Gorneault of Bristol and Louise Jaintonio of Florida; her great grandchildren, Chantel Thompson (Andrew), David Richards Jr., Andrew Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Jessica Sullivan, Daniel Casado, Bryan Casado and Sarah Johnson; Aiden, Emma, Nathan, Rebecca Johnson, Cadence and Ashley Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to Geer Nursing, the Nurses and all the Staff for keeping Mom safe, their wonderful care and kindness they gave her before and during family shut down due to COVID-19.
