He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Fongemie and Lucille Fongemie (Cote); his stepmother Rita Fongemie; and his brothers, Nelson and Roy Fongemie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fongemie (Barkley); and his children, Lisa Taylor (Phil) of Panama City, FL, Denise Gibbs (Joe) of Temple, TX, Ronald Fongemie, Jr. (Bonnie) of Bristol and Douglas Fongemie (Michelle Bossie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
