With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Alda Dalena of Bristol, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Dornfried and Anna Dornfried (Linik); her husband Vincent J. "Vinny" Dalena; and her siblings, Raymond and Jean Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent, Jr. of Litchfield, Connecticut, David (Brian Patton) of Boston, Massachusetts, Steven (Teresa Carpino) of Bristol, Connecticut, Cheryl (Lester Lunceford) of Jamestown, Tennessee, Cynthia of Pensacola, Florida and Doug of West Hartford, Connecticut.; and her sister Patricia Timbrell of New Britain.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home (48 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (151 Farmington Ave, Plainville, CT 06062).
