He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Burkard and Mary Ann Burkard (Schaub); and his brother Jim Burkard. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Burkard (Teresa) of Bristol; his siblings, Diane Bruder, Carol Burkard and John Burkard; and his grandchildren, Dominic, Mark, George, Paul, Madeleine and Mariana. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
