With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Bard of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 57. Though Troy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Troy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Bard (Dubay). He is survived by: his father Ronald Bard of Ohio; his close friend Karen LaBelle of Bristol; his daughter Samantha Bard of Bristol; his siblings, Kevin Bard of Bristol and Sonya Argraves of Terryville; and his grandchildren, Aria, Benntley, Gianna, Reina and Kainan.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (169 Main St, Terryville, CT 06786). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bristol Fish and Game (700 Beecher Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716).
